Equipping CCI with a premium, business critical asset, its annual report was the very first thing we were engaged to work on for the global commodities merchant, back in 2014.
Distributed among the company's entire network of stakeholders and investors, this report is one of the most powerful public facing tools CCI produces per annum. With CCI taking responsibility for all content, Merchant was tasked with creating the visual identity, along with the final print delivery of this business critical asset.
Our designers created engaging double page spreads, which sensitively illuminated the information within, drew out key stats, and paid homage to CCI's international standing in the global trading marketplace. CCI were so impressed with that first annual report, they subsequently engaged us to take ownership of the print and visual identity for this report every year since. Our design team gives the report a unique treatment each year, to differentiate from years gone by, and keep engagement among CCI investors strong.
Improving online engagement with a new CCI website
Following the overwhelmingly positive response CCI received to its Merchant-designed annual report, we were quickly engaged to overhaul the business's website. Like the report, CCI's website is a key brand engagement tool for the global commodities merchant, and another important touch point for its investor partners and stakeholders worldwide.
We completely redesigned the entire CCI website, building CCI a new environment that put the user journey at the centre of its proposition. Via a simplified UI, potential and existing investors can now easily navigate the site to quickly access the information they need. This improved user journey has positively increased dwell times on the site.
Attracting stand visitors at the leading commodities summit
Now in its seventh year, the FT Global Commodities Summit unites the world's leading merchants and thought makers to debate key issues in the commodities marketplace. The largest commodities conference of its kind; each year the event is attended by key industry stakeholders, from Directors and Vice Presidents to Fund Managers and Risk Capital Analysts.
For CCI, the FT Global Commodities Summit is a key event in the annual calendar, a chance to engage with peers across the world, and elevate awareness of its own commodities operation. We've helped CCI put its best foot forward at the summit for several years now. Producing its entire scope of conference materials, consecutively since 2015. All of which ensures CCI maintains a strong brand presence, and successfully engages visitors to their stand throughout the event.
